I have been caring and working with children for 10 years. I started baby-sitting for family members with children ranging in ages from 8 months of age up to 6 years. I obtained a CPR and first aid clearance as well as a TB working in a school setting with students ranging from ages 15 to 22. At the school district I am required to bathroom change, feed (g-tube and oral), keep a safe environment, work on academics and find creative ways to engage the kids in both academic and imaginary play. These skills have transferred over in my babysitting abilities. I have babysat for different families for many years since I was younger. I love working with kids because they are open to experiencing new things and allow me to help them maintain a structured environment. They make everyday a new experience and keep me on my toes.
