Hello, My name is Sara and I am 29-years-old. I am very motivated and responsible. I love my job and I love what I do. I get joy out of knowing I make a difference in a individual person's day to day life. I go into my job hoping I can make the person I am overseeing smile. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I made someone smile. I have worked with children with add, ADHD, and autism. I have also worked with adults with autism, down syndrome, manic mood disorder, cerebral palsy, and Huntington's disease. I have experience with adults and children with a wide range of mobility issues. Please give me a chance to make you smile too. :) I have a full resume and letters of recommendation to bring when we meet.

I knew after the very first conversation over the phone that I was going to hire Sara! You can hear the integrity and honesty in her voice! I have been through quite a few caregivers over the last 2 years of being in a wheelchair for a variety of reasons and my house had become quite overwhelming. I'm a widowed mother of a young child, so things had kind of piled up! Sara didn't bat an eye! She has helped me organize closets and rooms, inventory, and make my home comfortable. :) I'm a C5 Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury quadriplegic. I have some limited use of my hands and my arms, but am paralyzed from sternum down. And I have a small house! It's been 2 1/2 years that I have been taking sponge baths, but, thanks to Sara's willingness to help, we have now devised a way for me to take showers! She is always game to try something out! She cooks and cleans without complaint. And she's truly patient and sweet with my daughter. More than anything though, Sara is the first caregiver that I've had that just treats me like a normal person! She makes me smile and laugh a lot! I'd recommend her as a caregiver for pretty much ANY need; young or old, with cognitive limitations, with mobility limitations, as companion care, pretty much anything! She's very knowledgeable, but, if she isn't familiar with something, she is eager to learn! I am also Type 1 Diabetic amongst other health issues. She's great about helping me with wounds, paying attention to signs of low and high blood sugars, reminding me to eat, and reminding me about doctor appointments and medications! She truly is one of a kind!
