Hi, my name is Sara but I go by Sam. I have six years of experience working with an autistic and intellectually disabled young woman. Her parents' schedule changed, leaving them no longer in need of my service on a regular basis. Tasks I helped her with are: -Dressing -Brushing hair -Making snacks -Tube feeding -Period hygiene -In home activities (coloring, puzzles, etc.) -Out of the house activities (Ergadoozy, neighborhood playground, zoo, etc.) -Using her AAC device to communicate I have a personal interest in the disabled community. My closest friends have a few disabilities each, including: autism, ADHD, fibromyalgia, Tourette Syndrome, POTS, EDS, DID, trigeminal neuralgia, and multiple mental illnesses. I enjoy watching videos of people educating about their disabilities from their own perspectives. I would love to help your loved one live their best life while treating them with dignity and respect.
