I have cared for children in various capacities since my early tween years. I am passionate about raising and developing children - I view childcare as a full-time job that requires creativity, thoughtfulness, and skill. I prioritize physical, social, and educational development through activity development and weekly planning. I am a motivated, hands-on individual looking to help keep your kids engaged and active on a daily basis. Relevant Experience: - Two years as a YMCA Summer Camp and School-Year Counselor managing 20-25 school age children. - One year as a full time nanny for three young children. - A decade of experience in sporadic family childcare. I was previously infant/adult CPR certified and am willing to recertify if desired. I am comfortable with pets and willing to take on additional home tasks such as food preparation, laundry, and general tidying. For an additional daily or weekly fee, I will also engage in other regular house cleaning tasks.
