Prior to being a sahm, I left my tenure career as an Oral Surgery Assistant for the Air Force to support my husband's career and to help raise our son. I have always enjoyed working with children. I am a loving wife and devoted mother. As a mother, I understand the need to protect and nurture. I enjoy using a Montessori Style teaching approach. I'm very reliable, trustworthy, and respectful. My schedule allows for flexibility if you need part time care or date nights. My philosophy is simple: I believe all children need a warm, safe haven environment where they can grow, thrive and learn. Sarah was our nanny in the Fall of 2000. Emily was a good fit for our family. She brought her son with her who is the same age as my son and they played together so well. Especially during the Covid pandemic, it was nice for my son to have a playmate. Emily was very thoughtful and very attentive. She was very in tune with what both of the boys needed at all times. She was "on" once she walked through our door. She arrived with planned activities and kept a structure for the boys. She had a craft or activity for them in the morning, a walk in the stroller, play in the yard, a set time for lunch and nap time, and then some unstructured play in the afternoon. Emily is approachable and warm and open to what the needs of the family are. She will try to work with you for what is best for your child(ren). My son was very well cared for and we are sad to see them go.
