Available Early morning and afternoon/evenings starting March I have worked with children for 10 years with 4 summers as a camp counselor for children ages 5 months to 18 years old. I have worked in the clinical direct care setting for people with ASD for six years in therapeutic settings, ABA, including parent training. I am a caregiver with over four years experience of working with children on the autism spectrum. I have worked with people on the autism spectrum (ASD) from very low to very high functioning with ages ranging from 18 months to 26 years old. I have worked with individuals who are non-verbal and am comfortable with augmented communication devices/PECS systems. As well served as a camp counselor for two previous summer taking care of groups of children ages from infancy to age six. I believe proper ABA and childcare have deep routes in play. When interacting with children I focus on how to engage them while teaching them through play.
