About Sarah

I have a degree from Belmont University School of Music in Piano Performance. I am trained classically, but my degree is Commercial, which is jazz based. I love doing ear training and theory alongside the actual playing of the piano so that a student understands what they are playing and can be creative on their own outside the lesson time. I also can teach songwriting and stage coaching for young performers or aspiring writers. I worked in music publishing for 3 years and have taught lessons for 6 years. My teaching experience ranges from children's choir directing, in home lessons, and lessons one on one at two area private schools. I currently instruct part time at a music studio in Franklin, TN.
