Update: Most recently I've been caring for 2 wonderful families in Brookside/Mission Hills areas, but am looking for some additional regular hours! In 2015 I relocated to the South KC area from NJ, and was excited about finding new families here in my home town! I attended Shawnee Mission schools. I love children and have been care-giving for over 8 yrs. I cared for my niece (now 12); driving to/from school, activities and date night. I also cared for a family with 2 children (5-yr., 2 yr) to help busy Dr/Atty couple, and lovely mother with a 3 yr old boy. I'm comfortable with all ages, and customize my care giving to each individual child's needs and personality. I know CPR/First Aid, and how to turn tears into smiles. I like to discuss the parents care-giving philosophies up front to help ensure the best co-care for the child and promote open communication, (from inspiring learning to discipline). I love reading to children, games, outdoor play, arts & crafts, and homework help!
