About Roxanne

Howdy! My name is Roxanne, but my friends call me Rox or Roxy. I come from a family of teachers and am a caregiver at heart. I fell in love with the power of play and imagination as soon as I was old enough to participate. At 13, I was the neighborhood babysitter before taking on summer, part-time, and live-in nanny gigs. I worked in a private school in Kansas City as a summer and substitute teacher before the pandemic and then as a classroom proctor. COVID put a hault on my studies, and since then have been slowly taking classes towards my degree. I have lots of experience with kids ages 4 months up to 13 years and with families up to 6 kids. You can expect that I will do lots of art projects and spend ample time outdoors with your kiddos (when weather permits). Communication, trust, and respect are a must in a working relationship.
