Hi, I'm Sam! I have my Masters in Social Work, and I live in Waco, TX. I have cared for children my entire life whether it was family members or through Care. com! An aspect of my experience that stands out is my experience working with children who have survived trauma and children with severe disabilities as I served as a caregiver to my younger brother who had multiple, severe disabilities for over 10 years. We first got to know Sam when our 2nd was born (she's now over a year old) and we needed an extra set of hands in the house. We had an instant comfort level with her, and she didn't blink at any task we threw her way. She cared for baby, dealt with trying toddler, helped with our difficult, senior dog, she cleaned, cooked, tackled laundry, all while being a beacon of calm and practicality during a hectic time. She's now a regular part of the fabric, and is our first call when we need help. I can't say enough good things. Anyone lucky enough to get to know Sam is truly blessed.
