About Samantha

Hello! My name is Sammie and I am currently working full time as a county mental health worker. My background working with children is extensive, and I am in school in hopes of becoming a licensed counselor with a concentration in early childhood mental health. I have completed 12 ECE units, including an infant and toddler class. A little more about my background: I first began working with children as a nanny for young triplet boys for 3 and a half years. As a nanny I taught the children new skills for development, made sure they were safe, did hands-on activities and outdoor activities with them, and also did some light housekeeping and meal preparation. I have also worked as a childcare teacher for non-profit organizations in which I cared for newborns through school aged children. I have experience working in licensed childcares for 6 years. Working with children is my passion, and I am dedicated to making sure they feel loved and are well cared for.
