Since I was about 12, I started caring for children around my neighborhood ranging in age for 1 year and 6 years in age. Many of those children were 12 by the time I stopped babysitting on date nights. When I graduated from college, I cared for 3 children during summer vacation 6 days a week usually for about 5 to 6 hours. Those children ranged in age for 3 years to 8. For the past 4 years, I have been working at the YMCA in child care caring for children anywhere from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I am certified in CPR and First Aid and know the Heimlich maneuver. I love working with children and love having fun with my job.
