About Salli

I care about working with seniors as I cared for my mother and father when they became unable to care for themselves at the age of 77 and 82 years of age. I learned a lot about myself during those last years of parent's life. Switching roles with my mother was difficult and required patience and an understanding of how the mind and body worked as we age. I helped my mother bath, administer her medication, took her on her errands and made sure that she made her beauty appointments. I would do it all again. The respect I had for my mother increased even more during those last years. My goal was to make sure my mother was comfortable in her own home, safe and still maintain her independence. I also provided my mother emotional support as well.
