About Ruth

Hello! My name is Ruth and I am a Junior majoring in Marketing at SUNY New Paltz! I'm home until late august and would love to care for your family. I have extensive experience in child care, working as a camp counselor for 3 consecutive summers at a local town camp - here I was responsible for both the group and individual needs of children ranging from kindergarten to high school aged. I am equipped to entertain, tidy after, meal prep, and provide transportation as I am licensed and have my own vehicle! I have most recently worked at the front desk of a local music store and have most enjoyed bonding with the little ones who come in for lessons - I found that what was not in the job description was the duty of entertaining but I have loved every second. I am a very social being - I love music and art, as well as staying active and getting outside! I am fully available and will be there reliably, and responsibly for you and your family I'm looking forward to working together!
