I have a Masters degree in Arts of Teaching. Helping children learn and grow is what I a passionate about. I have additional coursework in learning disabilities and have been taught by some of the very best instructors. I am patient, calm and listen to children and am very good at assessing their needs, and assisting them in school subjects, and also social development. I can develop a plan and set goals. I have experience with both children who have ADHD, ADD, and also are on the autism spectrum. I also have a fun and creative side and try to implement as much as possible into the learning experiences. I know that, given the choice, children choose to have fun. I like to play games, and take hikes and know that children need fresh air and exercise, and fun and laughter. I also know that many children love movies and art projects, and summer is a great time to explore creativity, music and art.
