About Rtusha

My name is Rtusha! I got a BA in Film Studies and minored in Political Science from the University of Minnesota Summa Cum Laude (2016). I then immediately after pursued my MFA in Film from Columbia University (2019). While I am a filmmaker by trade, I have always been drawn to teaching. When asked "What would you do with a million dollars?" My answer always has been that I'd go back to school and get degrees in everything I've held interest in. I love education and love educating others. I've been a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate and graduate students. During 2020, I tutored 10 different students from the ages of 7-12, ranging the subjects of English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Dance, and Art. Being a teacher gives me a deep sense of joy because I learn the most from my students! There is nothing more satisfying than completing a whole educational journey of growth over a year with a student! I hope to continue my love for teaching for many years to come.
