Hey my name is Romi and my pronouns are they/them. I have been working with kids for 11 years as a babysitter, counselor, teacher, and nanny, and deeply love the work I do. Within this time, I was a Pre-K teacher for 1 year and an Art and Crafts Director at a YMCA summer camp. I facilitate an accepting, creative and fun-filled environment for children to feel their most comfortable and excited to learn and play. I am extremely patient, adaptable and equipped to support conflict resolution and communication dynamics between siblings and friends. I am very able to help them calmly and consistently navigate social dynamics. I can help out with school work and housekeeping too! I am looking to work 10-30 hours. We hired Romi for occasional childcare. Our kiddo felt immediately comfortable at their first meeting. I happened to be home for this first time and could hear that Romi followed our child's lead with play, engaged his curiosity, and gently redirected behavior when needed. He didn't want Romi to leave at the end of the shift, and we're all looking forward to the next time they play together!
