I have 20 years experience working with children with special needs including Autism, ADD, ADHD, as well as muscular disabilities. My experience is all volunteer work with the YMCA, martial arts, and being an cheerleading coach where my best cheerleader had Autism. I have worked in a group home in Indiana but had to move to Lebanon as a result of my husbands job in the Army. I am CPR/first aid certified, trained in documentation as well as treating the special needs individual as a human being and having fun with them. I loved working in my group home but with an hour and a half commute to and from work for 3 years for my husband, we had to move from my hometown.
