As a kid I spent my summers at Camp Greentop in Western Maryland, a camp operated by the league for people with disabilities and directed by my father. I grew up as a peer amongst the profoundly and severely disabled. As I got older and into high school, I started volunteering in my father's early childhood intervention pre-school classroom at Benfield Elementary in Severna Park, Maryland. As a college student I was a tutor to freshmen with Autism seeking a non-degree college experience through the REACH program. I have recently moved to Ventura from Salt Lake City, where I was working as a wilderness therapy guide for adolescents through Second Nature Uintas. I would love to get involved with those with special needs again. I am First Aid, CPR, and WFR certified. I have my own transportation and I have a very flexible schedule. I am energetic, positive, and hardworking. Get in touch if you're interested in working together!

We LOVE Victoria! Our son is high functioning on the spectrum and she was able to create such a bond with him. Victoria is super engaging and has seemingly endless amounts of energy to keep up with our rambunctious kid. She has great activity ideas and is always ready to get outside and move. This was great for introducing new experiences and create lasting memories with our son. Almost every day it was a new outing or adventure. We would come home to hear of all the hikes and bike rides and special sightseeing they'd do. Most impressive is the way she was able to calmly handle any outburst that occurred. She was able to come up with new and novel ways to redirect his energy into more productive behavior. We have seen such a maturity in our son since having Victoria in his life over the summer and we truly attribute it to her. We would have Victoria back anytime, she will always be our first choice in child care. Sincerely The M.s
