I graduated from Virginia College approximately 5 years ago as a medical assistant scoring with the top of my class while also working full time. I have been a caregiver at least 18 years now. Working with many Alzheimer's and dementia patients I have become very comfortable with the type of care required. Cooking, baking, reading to and participating in activities with clients is something I enjoy doing. Light housekeeping, errands and doctor's appointments are not a problem. I interact with the client understanding that he or she is a person with dignity and deserving compassion and patience.
