About Rebecca

I'd describe my personality as responsible, consistent, and kind. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping people grow and succeed. Some of my greatest achievements are rooted in the success of others. I'm looking for a job that allows me some flexibility and helps me keep my skills sharp. I started tutoring when I began teaching. I have been a high school English teacher for 24 years, and as a military spouse I have worked with varied students all across the country. In my spare time, I like to cook, knit, care for my dogs, work on my house, and visit historical sites. One thing you should know about me is I work hard at any job I'm given. My skills include understanding where a person's gaps are and in knowing what kinds of activities will help a person fill those gaps. I have 24 years of teaching techniques to pull from.
