About Rebecca

I am an Elementary school teacher working in New York City. I have been teaching for approximately four years. I have experience working with first, second and third grade. I am currently completing my Masters of Arts in Teaching. Prior to my experience as an educator I also have extensive tutoring and babysitting experience, a combined total of 4 years. I truly enjoy working with children. My educational philosophy is that all children deserve a quality, equitable education that is centered around education the whole child. I do not only teach the core subjects but I am also committed to helping my students develop critical social emotional skill (from conflict resolution to understanding feelings/emotions and how their behaviors matter).
