About Rebecca

I'm a theatre artist and educator and recently relocated to NYC. I'm seeking steady part time work as a caregiver and/or tutor this year and beyond. As a caregiver I've worked with ages 3 months to 14 years old, including twin toddlers, nanny shares, and special needs. I've navigated a wide range of parenting styles, and ultimately desire to support whatever style the family has in place. Within the realm of education I've worked as a reading intervention specialist, after school homework tutor, driving instructor, Gymboree instructor, teaching assistant in a SpEd and SED classroom, and of course as a drama, dance, and music instructor. I have taught all age groups. I enjoy bringing creative activities into the caregiving relationship and/or learning environment, and I believe play is an important foundation to building trust, cultivating curiosity, and maintaining relational health.
