Hi! I have been working with and assisting the elderly for 4 years. I started off in this field caring for my grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia when I was 19 years old. I assisted her with showers, changing of depends, cooking and cleaning. After my grandmothers passing I because really interested in the cares for dementia residents and didn't want to give it up. I started working in nursing homes . I love being able to help others with tasks they need help with and encouraging them every day to not give up! It's truly a blessing and I wouldn't change my field of work for anything else
