Hi, my name is Raven! I am looking to help kids all across the DFW area with their writing skills. Last May, I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a double major in Journalism and Sociology, and a minor in Criminology. I am passionate about writing; education, censorship and social justice are some of my favorite topics/interests. In 2023, I won a 1st place Pacemaker Award for social media reporting at the Associated Collegiate Press Awards, a 2nd place Pinnacle Award for social media reporting from the College Media Awards, and placed 10th in the Hearst Journalism Awards for Multimedia Reporting. I am looking to start my long term career, but in the meantime I would love to use my skills to help advance young people's writing abilities, and make it fun along the way.
