About Abigail

I am a recent graduate of University, with a BA in English and minors in History and Secondary Education, and a Master's of Arts in English from The University of Alabama. I have been tutoring and volunteering in school settings since I was in early high school, and my experience has culminated in a year-long student teaching experience throughout which I taught of English Language Arts in 7th-9th grade. During my time at UA, I independently taught first-year writing courses. This is all to say that I am incredibly comfortable teaching all aspects of the English-literary analysis, grammar, and writing. I was also a student instructor for "SFA 101," an introductory course for college freshmen focusing on personal finance, study skills, and transitioning from high school to college life. Teaching this course helped me become a better mentor, and improved my interpersonal communication. I have a passion for education at all levels.
