About Rae

I have recently (1. 5 yrs) made the shift to become a career nanny after I realized I have found my calling in the field of child care. I have a heightened sensitivity and empathy that helps me understand what kids truly need in the moment and in their routine care. I take great joy in watching progress in development and planning activities that will encourage them to advance. simultaneously, I'm a big fan of free / independent child-led play. I take care of children ages newborn - 6 years old and have references from other current families. I'm looking to take one additional family on so I can continue to feel the emotional fulfillment this career gives me and to continue to learn from as many families as possible while I bloom in this field. my yearly plan includes extensive continued education in the form of books, courses and certifications. I thoroughly communicate in person during every hand off. I help with household tasks while littles are asleep including cooking and cleaning
