About Rachel

I have 3 years of experience. I can help with Special Education. I have a BS in chemistry, masters in biochemistry, and went back in 2016 for a BS in dietetics. I love tutoring and getting kids excited about math and science, which is my strong suit. I worked at Huntington Learning Center for a year while living in Chicago and was promoted to lead teacher while there. I recently moved to Chattanooga as my husband did his PhD at UTC in computational engineering and wanted to move back, so I have a great resource for more advanced math beyond pre-calculus. I will spend time to understand your child's learning strengths and set realistic goals on how to help them achieve those goals. I truly believe a quality education is fundamental to a child's success and would love to help kids get excited about learning and their future educational opportunities!
