About Rachel

Hello! I am a 30-year-old adventurer and lover of all things happy and kind. My journey has brought me from teaching, to social work, to nursing, to animal hospitals, and now circling back to my love for kids and learning. I find so much joy in watching their little minds light up in their exploration of the world and finding their way about it. I have a broad range of skills that allow me to provide a safe environment while also creating an enriching experience that keep everyone happy and growing. I now have a little one of my own and she is 7 months old and full of wonder. I would love to find families who are comfortable with me bringing her along to meet new friends. I have been babysitting part-time since she was 4 months old so I'm very comfortable navigating caring for other children while she is with me. We do a lot of baby wearing or use a pack n play to make this possible. We love walks in nature, baking, playing with toys, and laughing together :).
