About Rachel

Hello! I'm Rachel and I'm a former preschool teacher with 10 years of childcare experience. I have cared for children as young as newborn, all the way up to 12 years old. I am First Aid & CPR certified, and trained in the fundamentals of Montessori education. I enjoy doing crafts, science experiments, and projects with children. I'm always thinking of creative ways to spend time together. Being active and exploring nature is an important part of my childcare philosophy, so I try to implement that whenever possible. In a home setting, I'm not afraid to do extra housework you may need help with, as well as meal-prep (I love to cook and bake!). If you choose me as your caregiver, you can be assured I will be reliable, punctual, flexible, and easy to communicate with. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, trying new recipes, and playing guitar.
