I have always loved working with and being around kids for as long as I can remember! I have two little sisters, so I was constantly caring and playing with them growing up. I am CPR and First Aid certified, so you can rest assured knowing that I can care for your kiddos if something were to happen (I am willing to provide documentation as well!). It's important for me to make sure your kids are safe, being disciplined, but also having a fun time doing it. I always prioritize what you (the parents) want from me when I'm caring for your little ones, so organization and multitasking are a big skillset that I have! I'm very enthusiastic, outgoing, and communicative because I understand how intimidating it can be to not know what's happening with your kiddos. I never put myself in situations I can't handle and I know when to ask questions if something is unclear to me.

Rachel has been a blessing to our family. The day she started, our 10 month old baby was coming down with an ear infection and was therefore, very cranky. Rachel just soothed her and did her best to make her comfortable. Let's just say, that our little one was not pleasant to be around for Rachel's first 2 days. By the 3rd day, she had been on an antibiotic for 24 hours and was much more pleasant from that point on. Rachel was not discouraged or impatient or scared off by that rough start. Now when Rachel walks through the door, our baby girl lights up with joy. Rachel is always punctual, responds quickly to messages, and always cares for our little one amazingly. Rachel even stayed with our teenager late into the night one night when we were out of town and our teenager became sick with the stomach flu. As I stated earlier, Rachel has been a blessing for our family. She still works for us, but she may be available for afternoons/evenings/weekends. I highly recommend her.
