About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel and I'm a passionate, intelligent, and driven graduate school student who's excited to put my childcare skills & experience to use. I started working with kids as a summer church counselor in 7th grade, & since then have spent thousands of hours assisting parents in nurturing their children. As an aspiring therapist, I enjoy holding space for children to help them understand their feelings & how to express themselves authentically, while being respectful towards the people around them. Kids are very good at expressing themselves when given the space to do so! I work to foster an environment that provides children the support and safety they need to explore their interests and emotions safely. I love working & connecting with children & families of all personality types, fostering a fun environment while maintaining a clean house, & ensuring that each child safely enjoys the time we spend together.
