I am passionate about those with special needs because I have a daughter with special needs. I have a typical 12-year-old and a 8-year-old with special needs. She is g-tube fed and has had multiple surgeries. We do at home therapy everyday to try to keep her moving like a typical 8-year-old. I also have experience taking care of an almost 3-year-old girl who was a 29 weeker. She is now a typical almost 3-year-old after lots of hard work from the parents and her coming to my house and being with my children and exposed to everything, now tests above her age. I love being given a challenge and helping a child meet that expectation!
