About Rachael

I have been around children all my life. With my mother owning her own childcare center, I would often help provide care. I have formally worked in a childcare setting for five years, gaining childcare experience working with children ages birth-12 as an assistant teacher. At the same facility (from August 2015-August 2016), I worked as a lead teacher for the school age classroom before transitioning to working full time in the infant classroom. In addition, I worked for a year as a playground supervisor for a local drive-in movie theater in Warren, OH. In 2015, I graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Specialized Studies in Child Development, Psychology and Music. Currently, I am again attending Ohio University for a Master's in Child and Family Studies with an emphasis on Child Life. I also have volunteer experience at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH delivering various crafts and activities to patients throughout the hospital.
