About Rachael

I am a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a B. A. in Anthropology, and I received my Master in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018. I am an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and currently seeking part-time work to supplement my other employment. I have 3+ years experience working specifically with preschool-aged children (ages 3-6) in a trauma-informed, therapeutic learning environment focused on play and project-based Reggio-inspired learning. I am passionate about using children's ideas, questions, and curiosities to fuel learning and their overall development, especially through the use of sensory tools, movement, and play.
