About Phoebe

Hello! My name is Phoebe, and I started working with kids as a teenager. As a tutor, nanny, and later science educator, I am passionate about fostering a curious, explorative, and safe environment for children in my care. Most recently, I worked as a program manager with a young nonprofit in Philadelphia, PA. I have since moved home to Charlottesville, VA where I am hoping to continue working in the nonprofit field in some capacity, while still remaining active and working with kids. I enjoy the outdoors and staying active, always bring fun ideas for activities that put down screens and emphasize curiosity about our natural world. I passed a federal and state background check for my program manager position in PA, and can provide those documents upon request! I was also first aid and CPR certified, and can renew those certifications upon request as well.
