I have been taking care of young man with muscular dystrophy for roughly 2 years now. He is wheelchair-bound and needs assistance with many of his activities of daily living such as, cleaning and bathing, changing clothes, moving in and out of bed, meal preparation, cooking, and assistance with eating, and other daily activities. I also wash his dishes and do his laundry as well as clean his living space. When not directly addressing his needs, I keep him company and do well to keep him socially-engaged, happy and content. I also help out with running errands and various other activities.
