I myself have struggled with ADHD growing up, even now as an adult. I personally have two siblings on the spectrum. I feel as though I'm able to understand & communicate with clients in a way, most caretakers would consider as hassling. I like getting to know my clients triggers, sounds, actions they find discomforting. Creating familiar routines, going to local parks, events that are in the community. Finding similar interest, both discovering new activities we like to do together, or themselves alone. Everything to help them grow mentally, physically, emotionally as individuals. I have administered medication, preparation & serving meals, running errands, providing companionship, helping with bathing, documenting and reporting. self-care activities. assistance with light domestic tasks, cleaning, laundry, dishes. vacuuming, budgeting, and schedule management. I am pet friendly. CBT & Paraprofessional for both in school and 1on1. I love music, dancing, group sports, activities.
