Here's a little bit about me: I love kids! I began caring for children with my volunteering throughout high school. Through a Community Program, I babysat for two separate families of 2-year-old boys for several hours each week while their full-time caregivers ran errands or completed chores around the house. Through this same program I also tutored a 17-year-old patient in Chemistry. Every summer I volunteer at a summer camp for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. As a camp counselor I care for one camper with muscular dystrophy (15-year-old) 24/7 for one week to assist with ADL's and help the camper have the best week of their life at summer camp, doing activities that they are usually limited by. In addition, I have babysat a 2-year-old boy for 5-16 hrs/week for the past 7 months. I'm now in college on the pre-med track, hoping to work in pediatrics in the future! Thank you! :)
