Hello! I am an experienced nanny with an intuitive understanding of children. I absolutely LOVE being around children and the feeling is mutual. I'm kid-approved, fun, loving and creative! I'm great at coming up with imaginative-driven games for kids that make everyday situations more enjoyable and educational. I have a professional background in music as a singer, songwriter and guitarist. From the ages of 17-19 I was a counselor at a summer sleep-away camp for underprivileged inner-city youth. During this time I developed an ability for keeping kids engaged and safe while still having fun. Over the years I've had over 10 years of paid experience caring for young children, specializing in ages 3 months to elementary school aged children. My responsibilities have included picking up kids from school, helping with homework, dropping them off for play dates, fixing lunch, snacks, and light dinner prep, changing diapers and assisting with potty training. I'm punctual & reliable!

Opal is awesome. She has been with our family for over a year and she has been absolutely incredible. She was very kind, patient and engaging with our daughters. Her expertise with young children was evident, and she provided just the right amount of updates to keep us in the loop while we were away at work. An added benefit of hiring Opal is she takes great pics! We have lovely pictures of our daughters which look like they were taken by a professional photographer. My wife and I felt very comfortable with her. Our two daughters have had many caregivers and Opal is their very favorite. Her intuition with children is awesome. I always know that they are getting the best of care when they are with her and that they are having a BLAST! We would have wanted to have her for as long as she could be here. She's just what you are looking for. Opal really is absolutely incredible and we are jealous of whatever family is able to work with her next. We will miss you Opal!
