About Olivia

As a elementary school teacher and recent College Graduate I have had the privilege to professionally tutor at College and throughout the community I resided. I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and all grades ranging from 2nd grade to 9th grade. As a tutor my goal is not merely for my students to get the right grades, but to truly understand the material they are studying. Over the years my students have not only increased their grades, but been able to help others understand the material. Also, as an elementary and special education teacher, I have learned many tactics and tools to use in the classroom and one on one. I have observed and taught intervention (for struggling students) and extension programs (for advanced and gifted students) in general and special education classrooms. I have created and implemented lessons for different math, science, and literacy topics. Along with tutoring younger students, I was also a paid tutor for College students.
