About Olivia

I am a third year student at UCLA studying Cognitive Science with a specialization in computing. I am super positive, encouraging, and relatable. I love working with kids of all ages. I have been a reliable babysitter for a few families with up to 4 kids for the past 5 years. I have run carpools, taken kids to swim meets, taught them how to swim, and worked on schoolwork with them. This past summer, I watched two girls (eight and 11) and even helped them learn very basic online coding games. In high school, I worked as a volunteer at an elementary school coding program. At UCLA, I am a part of Bruin Partners, an organization that tutors and mentors middle schoolers. I have also been a day and overnight camp counselor. I am a lifeguard on campus and have lifeguarded for over 5 years, but the pools are closed for now. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am looking for a job while I complete online school this next quarter! I have my own car and live in Westwood.
