About Octavia
I am a graduate of UHCL with my degree in Biological Sciences with a 7-12 Life Science Teaching Certification. I have been in the classroom for nearly four years. I have experience with not only tutoring, but also teaching students. I utilize dozens of pedagogy strategies to enhance student's learning and to excite their minds to want to learn more. I tutor in several content areas as well as AVID tutoring. I have completed both of my TeXes Exams for Pedagogy and Science Content and I have a teaching certificate for 7-12 Life Science.
