About Nya

I first met Nya during the summer bridge program. The summer bridge program is where college students come three weeks early for college classes, and to grow in leadership skills. Nya is also a teammate of mine for track and we worked together. Nya is a close friend of mine and I have been in many activities with her so I have since many different qualities. From being in track with Nya, I see how hardworking she is. The only time she is disappointed in a race is when she doesn't give her all. Not only is she hardworking but she is supportive and encourages her teammates. She not only wants to be the best she can be, she wants those around her to also achieve their best. From working with Nya, I see her dedication, she doesn't like to miss work nor show up late to work. Doing her best at all she does is important to her. From being in classes with her, she honestly motivates me to get my work done. Nya is considered a leader here and many people look up to her. Nya also works at the YMCA and she has great experience with kids. She loves babysitting for one of our track coaches' kids.
