About Nixie

Hey! I'm Nixie :) firstly: a little bit about me. I've worked with children since I was 12 years old. I love the outdoors, cooking, history, and reading. I value all of these and try to implement them in the care I offer. I'm also in training to be a Certified DONA Doula! I'm super open minded and adjust very easily to different situations and circumstances: meaning, depending on your life style, I can include these things in our day to day activities. Such as (religious practices, exercise practices, and dietary restrictions). I center my care around play-based learning, conscious thinking and discipline, and the whole child - body, mind, soul. I'd love to be a part of the your team in some of the most valuable years of your and your child's life! Lastly, under legal requirement, I am a mandated reporter. I will tolerate no kinds of misconduct in the home and under GUISE BY THE LAW am required to report any and all incidents considered under any conditions of child mistreatment.
