My first 2 volunteer jobs was with seniors in a care center of about 100 plus in a building. Not only was I there for school credit but I showed a means of emotional support and dedication to making sure I was doing activities, so they had quality of life. I met each person and took time getting to know them. My true hands on experience started after college. The next 7 years I was bathing, meal prepping, cleaning, and giving medication to seniors with mentally disabilities ranging to cerebral palsy, down syndrome, bipolar, Alzheimer, and low/high functional needs.
