We had asked Natalie to come assist with some light chores and childcare for a few hours in the evenings to help us transition our kids from summer camp to dinnertime. She showed up on the first day and did a decent job. We had her scheduled for multiple more shifts, but the next two she called out from them on the day of, once with barely an hour's notice. We had her scheduled for more shifts but decided not to proceed with using her since she was unreliable for 2/3 shifts. When I texted her that we wouldn't need her again, she didn't respond.
