Also, I have experience in dispensing medications, taking clients shopping, and to doctors appointments. I have always had a passion for caring for people. I went on to care for the disabled and senior citizens. I love my job working with the elderly. I have always found that caregiving in my own family and with others has given me great personal satisfaction and is very rewarding.

Nancy S. was an answer to a prayer. My Dad was in his late nineties, dementia was setting in slowly, he was absolutely obstinate about our pleas to have him stop driving (despite numerous examples of why) and he totally refused to be driven by an earlier individual we had found. So my sister found Nancy S., and my Dad's three kids interviewed her. She had worked with seniors in previous jobs which meant A LOT to us. After confronting our Dad with our desire to hire Nancy, and why he was so very lucky that one of his kids had found her, and why we were concerned about him continuing to drive on every occasion, we hired her. In addition to just plain being a good, responsible person, Nancy had the maturity, understanding and skill to work with my Dad when he was unhappy about her driving him. She knew what buttons to push, how to handle any obstinate remarks he often made. He grew to really like her! And THAT is unbelievable if you knew our Dad! She brought him peace.
