Hi, I retired from my full time banking career almost two years ago. Since that time I have provided transportation, companionship and assistance to several seniors. It has been very rewarding because we would converse, laugh, shop and enjoy each others company. It brought them peace of mind knowing I would be there for them to assist with their needs. For the past six months, I have been working with dementia and hospice seniors. I truly care and do whatever I can to soothe their mind and provide comfort. Sometimes it is holding their hand, praying together or listening to soft music. This has provided such a blessing not only to me, but also the family who may need to step away for a short while.
