About Mya

Hello! My name is Mya and I am interested in being a nanny for your little one! I have been working with children for the last 6 years. I thrive to create a safe, nurturing and loving environment. I would describe my personality as bubbly, caring and outgoing. I enjoy working with kids because I love to watch them learn and grow. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I have two younger siblings and four younger cousins. I grew up being the babysitter for all of them and it made me realize how much I do enjoy caring for children. In my spare time, I like to go on walks with my dog, cook and during the summer I enjoy sitting outside or swimming. My skills include communication, creativity and child development. In high school I took Early Childhood Education so I have a great understanding of all stages of development, ways children learn and how to understand a child when they are expressing their feelings.
